Foodland have a proud history in South Australia and maintain their commitment to local businesses by choosing to stock a large range of SA brands and employing over 9,000 South Australians. The independently owned supermarkets support the I Choose SA program throughout the year and local brands benefit from additional promotional opportunities and increased sales when they do.
MOO Premium Foods
MOO Premium Foods husband and wife co-founders, Mick and Sally Sanders, turned an inspirational trip to France into a South Australian premium foods business with a national presence. They are strong supporters of choosing local and the I Choose SA program. Their involvement with the program and the messaging behind it has contributed to their success in the last two years.
Golden North Ice Cream
The positive impact the I Choose SA program is having on local businesses continues to grow. Golden North have seen an increase in sales and have employed more factory staff since the program’s launch. In addition, I Choose SA has directly assisted in Golden North increasing the number of product lines stocked at local supermarkets.
After noticing the success of the I Choose SA cprogram and the impact of I Choose SA Day in 2016, BWS decided to get on board and bring the I Choose SA brand into their own stores. This activity started with I Choose SA Day on Saturday 21 October 2017, where BWS partnered with over a dozen iconic South Australian winemakers, brewers, and distillers for in store tastings and product specials. These activities, along with instore promotional collateral in the lead up to I Choose SA Day, resulted in some of the strongest weekend sales on the previous 6 months.
Robern Menz have been a proud supporter of the I Choose SA program since its launch in August 2016. Since this time, they have leveraged the I Choose SA brand through their own activities and taken advantage of many program activities that have resulted in increased sales and greater brand reach.
Spring Gully Foods know how powerful the support of the SA public can be. In April 2013, the company entered voluntary administration following a sudden downturn in sales. Now, more than four and a half years later, they have been able to clear their debts thanks to South Australians rallying behind their brand and choosing their product.
