Richard Miller, Founder and Creative Director of Crisp Advertising is back!


Following a two year break from the advertising industry, the founder and Creative Director of Crisp Advertising is back in the chair.


Richard Miller began his advertising career as Sales Executive for Network TEN in 2004. In 2009, Richard and an ex-colleague from TEN started Crisp Advertising and took the retail advertising world by storm.


Bringing you creative such as Mary Huff of Essential Beauty gained national and worldwide acclaim securing Crisp’s place as an innovative and cutting edge creative agency.


Crisp also featured on Gruen Planet and competed successfully against Melbourne agency OBM with its answer to the brief: Convince Australia to ban alcohol! 


“Having been notorious for humorous and ‘near the bone' ads such as Essential Beauty, Black Knight Erotica and Innerware, being asked by the producers to write something serious was a shock and massive challenge” said Richard.


But the end result was something to be very proud of for this little ol’ Adelaide full service shop.


In 2015 having spent the best part of 11 years in the industry, Richard decided to accept the role as Group Business Manager, Business Development at Commercial Retail Group as well as General Manager of Youthinc, a local NFP established to assist young unemployed and disadvantaged South Australians.


When the Foundation reached a point where ‘his work there was done’, the opportunity arose to re-acquire Crisp Advertising and return to the industry he is so passionate about.


With the mantra “Creativity that builds brands and sells stuff” Crisp is a full service agency boasting a talented team of creative and strategic minds as well as an enviable client list of both local and interstate brands including the multi-award winning Adelaide’s finest supermarkets, Essential Beauty, Wok in a Box, Noodle Box, Coopers Alehouse (Gepps Cross), Cheap as Chips and more.
