About the Regional Showcase

Shining a spotlight on Regional South Australia by uncovering, telling and showcasing stories of success.

For the 20th year, Brand South Australia is proud to again be celebrating regional success with the Regional Showcase program. The aim of this program is to put a spotlight on regional South Australia by uncovering, telling and showcasing stories of success.

Our Regional Showcase program is run annually to celebrate the achievements of individuals, groups and South Australian businesses that have made significant contributions to regional South Australia.

One of the reasons the program has been successful over the years is because it connects our valued regions to the rest of South Australia.

How it all works

Suggest a Story

Help us track down the stories of regional success. Tell us about someone you know who goes above and beyond in their region.

Media Exposure

We’ll take your suggestions and feed them to our regional journalists who write the stories.

Blog Posts on Brand SA News

Stories are then posted on Brand SA News, which reaches audiences locally, nationally and internationally. All stories are royalty free.

Reader Popularity Analytics

In August, the stories will be measured by reader popularity with the top 30 stories written between 14 July 2018 – 12 July 2019 are reposted for readers to vote.

Voting

We’ll be asking the public to vote on the top 30 stories. We’ll also be asking program stakeholders to vote on the Community and Business Award.

Showcasing & Celebrating the Best

The top 15 stories across South Australia will be shared at a celebration evening in October, with three pear trophies awarded.
